THE LITTLE DEATH - Introduction with Josh Lawson
We invite you to come meet Josh Lawson, Actor and Director for an advance preview for THE LITTLE DEATH in which Josh will introduce his new film.

The Little Death is a truly original comedy about sex, love, relationships and taboo. In a multi-story narrative, we peer behind the closed doors of a seemingly normal suburban street to explore the secret sex lives of five ordinary couples. Laugh-out-loud funny, honest and ultimately moving, The Little Death looks at how far we go in pursuit of that fleeting moment of sexual ecstasy; a moment the French call ‘la petite mort’ – the little death.

WE ARE THE BEST [MA15+] - Exclusive Advance Screenings
WE ARE THE BEST! is Lukas Moodysson's adaptation of his wife Coco's graphic novel about three young misfits growing up in early '80s Stockholm. Pixieish, mohawk-sporting Klara (Mira Grosin) and her best friend Bobo (Mira Barkhammar) are 13-year-old rebels looking for a cause. Despite having no instruments-or discernible musical talent-the two put all their energy into forming an all-girl punk band, recruiting their shy, classical guitar-playing schoolmate Hedvig (Liv LeMoyne) as the third wheel.

With tender affection for his young characters and the period in which his film is set, Moodysson paints an ebullient and sharply observant portrait of DIY spirit and growing up different.

THE SKELETON TWINS + WHIPLASH Complimentary Ticket
THE SKELETON TWINS
After ten years of estrangement, twins Maggie (Kristen Wiig) and Milo (Bill Hader) coincidentally cheat death on the same day, prompting them to reunite and confront how their lives went so wrong.

At first, the bond between the twins is tentative: A surprise visit from their mother (Joanna Gleason), a new-age practitioner who refuses to recognize her children’s pain, only seems to amplify just how little Maggie and Milo have recovered from the events of their childhood. Eventually Milo and Maggie grow to understand that living truthfully and sharing their lives with each other, pain and all, is the only way they can move forward and reclaim the happiness they once enjoyed together.

WHIPLASH
Andrew Neyman (Miles Teller) is an ambitious young jazz drummer, single-minded in his pursuit to rise to the top of his elite east coast music conservatory. Plagued by the failed writing career of his father (Paul Reiser), Andrew hungers day and night to become one of the greats. Terence Fletcher (J.K. Simmons), an instructor equally known for his teaching talents as for his terrifying methods, leads the top jazz ensemble in the school. Fletcher discovers Andrew and transfers the aspiring drummer into his band, forever changing the young man’s life.

Andrew’s passion to achieve perfection quickly spirals into obsession, as his ruthless teacher continues to push him to the brink of both his ability—and his sanity.

"A work of bravura filmmaking. Anchored by extraordinary performances from Miles Teller and J.K. Simmons... Simmons absolutely dominates every frame of the picture" - Collider
