Weekend Previews: Life Could Be a Dream

Be among the first to experience Life Could Be a Dream at our Weekend Preview Screenings (May 9-10), a beautiful and deeply moving new film from director Jasmin Tarasin, exploring freedom, identity and healing in the most unexpected places.

Sarah is standing at the edge of a life she’s never lived. At forty, with her teenage son Otis by her side, she’s searching for a way forward, one that isn’t defined by fear, but by choice. When the pair find temporary refuge in a luxurious estate she’s been tasked with selling, Sarah begins to imagine something new. But as old patterns and outside pressures close in, she must confront the beliefs she’s long held about love, safety and what it means to be saved.

At its heart, Life Could Be a Dream is a tender and unflinching portrait of a mother and son redefining their bond, and the quiet, courageous act of breaking cycles so the next generation can choose differently.

A donation of $1 from every ticket sold across the Palace Cinemas circuit during the release of the film will be made to The Man Cave, an Australian preventative mental health charity for boys and young men.
