Sophia, the daughter, returns to Polydrosos to care for her mother, also named Sophia. In the neighbourhood where she grew up, all the reasons that once drove her to leave are still present. Polydrosos is an isolated suburb, and both mother and daughter spend their days navigating the ghosts of the past. It’s a film about tender people in an unkind world.
