Synopsis

World Premiere - Closing Night Film. Collaborators for the last 30 years, with films such as Everynight...Everynight, Silent Partner, Tom White, and The Taverna, Alkinos Tsilimidos and David Field come together again for a riotous comedy, The Kink. Written and produced by Alkinos Tsilimidos, and directed by David Field, Andrew Petropoulos debuts his first feature as the cinematographer. The Kink is the suburban story of a past-his-use-by-date, sex obsessed conman (Mirko Grillini) who is blackmailed by his lawyer’s over protective mother (Sally-Anne Upton) to do the unthinkable. With only two days to plan everything, he employs his lover’s husband to assist. But as the inexperienced duo attempt to execute the plan, they soon discover in the world of swingers, swindlers, gold diggers and mummy’s boys, it’s all about... The Kink!
