Synopsis
Acclaimed writer, director and multiple Academy Award winner, Ethan Coen (Fargo, No Country for Old Men), reunites with co-writer Tricia Cooke for another superbly visceral dark comedy in HONEY DON’T! – the spiritual sequel to their 2024 lesbian comedy, ‘Drive-Away Dolls’. Margaret Qualley, fresh off the back of her standout role in Oscar-winning hit horror, ‘The Substance’, stars as Honey Odonahue, a sleek, smooth and no-nonsense private investigator. When a strange car fatality disrupts the sleepy town of Bakersfield, California, Honey refuses to call it an accident. With the help of local cop MG Falcone (Golden Globe-nominated comedian Aubrey Plaza), Honey follows a trail of clues, leading to a mysterious church run by the sleazy Reverend Drew Devlin (Chris Evans; Materialists). Also starring Critic’s Choice Award nominee Charlie Day, Emmy Nominee Billy Eichner and Tony winner Lena Hall, HONEY DON’T! is another quippy, witty and deliciously bloody entry into the esteemed Coen catalogue.
