Synopsis
A young security guard, Karun from south of India, Kerala, is posted in Gurez, a remote village in Kashmir, north of India, which is also very close to the Pakistani border. One day a young beautiful Kashmiri boy Faheem, with a disarming smile appears at the check post. This is the beginning of a romance between Karun and Faheem. A romance that is doomed right from the beginning. For Karun, in spite of the Supreme Court of India having decriminalised homosexuality, the toxic male milieu of the institution does not allow him to be open about his sexuality. And for Faheem it's not only what he has been told to be a " sin" in Islam but the dilemma of falling in love with someone who is perceived as the "enemy".
