Beauregard "Bo" Decker (Academy Award nominee Don Murray) a naive, socially inept Montana cowboy, travels to Phoenix for a rodeo and becomes obsessed with Chérie (Marilyn Monroe), a cabaret singer. Believing she is his destiny, he forces her onto a bus to Montana, but a blizzard traps them at a roadside diner, forcing Bo to change his possessive behaviour. Featuring outstanding performances from cultural icon Marilyn Monroe and Academy Award nominee Arthur O’Connell, BUS STOP showcases Monroe’s dramatic acting capabilities, skewering her typical glamourous image for a more unpolished look, to profoundly portray a tired, hopeful dreamer.
