Synopsis
It’s the ultimate nightmare for anyone who doesn’t like their boss… Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien star as co-workers who become the sole survivors of a plane crash in Sam Raimi’s (The Evil Dead, Drag Me to Hell) darkly humorous survival horror thriller, SEND HELP. Downtrodden employee Linda Liddle (McAdams) and her insufferable boss, Bradley Preston (O’Brien), are the only survivors of a devastating plane crash, leaving them stranded on a deserted island. Forced into uneasy cooperation, they must overcome past grievances and work together to survive. But survival soon gives way to an increasingly unhinged battle of wills and wits - and with Linda’s formidable survival skills, she may be her boss’s only hope of staying alive. As the island strips away civilisation and corporate hierarchy, the balance of power violently shifts. What begins as a fight against the elements soon spirals into a twisted psychological showdown where control, sanity, and long-suppressed resentment collide. Equal parts savage, suspenseful, and darkly funny, Raimi’s black comedy explores how far someone will go to survive - and what it really costs to finally get the upper hand.
